WHERE HE CALLS HOME:
Pete is a climber and writer based in Boulder, Colorado. He’s climbed in the Himalayas, Alaska, South America, Europe, Australia and most part in between. His first climb was an eight-foot-high boulder behind his home in Idaho as a six-year-old. It was scary but that's what got him hooked! His next climbs were as a teenager in the Northwest, those climbs led to Yosemite. These days you’ll find Pete climbing locally and writing for magazines and the screen. He’s the author of three books. Pete's been on the board of three non-profit organizations in the area. He really enjoys sharing knowledge and experience -- whether that's turning a young climber onto a first ascent or showing them the ropes on expedition climbing. For Pete, stoke is a measure of enthusiasm and commitment. It's the spark of adventure, and the fuel to carry you through.
HIS STOKE OF CHOICE:
"A stiff Americano, dark espresso roast."
